To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.

Yay, i’m accomplished then!! I was only saying to my husband yesterday “i don’t even know how the Joneses are who we’re meant to be keeping up with, i love our family unit & world, whatever else is going on around us” & that whatever else is pretty full on for us. My children never dress, speak or want the same things as their friends or each other too, i love how independent they are to what their worlds are trying to aim their way. OMG, yes, i have a teen who dresses differently to the clones at high school & is a stand out. Love Posie

Hey Maxabella. Haven’t dropped by for awhile. I have missed reading your little gems of wisdom and humor. Being yourself is an accomplishment I think. It is difficult to be different when all you want to be is accepted.
Cindy says
Completely true…I agree with what Michelle said. It’s not easy with our want of being accepted in a group, but it is a huge accomplishment to be yourself. Like Emerson says…the greatest thing.

Indeed, what a beautiful quote.
The older I get, the more I think our life is really one long journey to who we really are.
