I started ‘Grateful Saturday’ in order to take a moment every week to reflect on the things in my life that were positive and appreciated. It’s a grounding, important thing in my life and I am convinced that it helps keep me looking for and focusing on life’s positives.
I’ve always done ‘three things’. Who knows why three, but three it is.
I’ve had a HUGE week in blogging land this week. Really awesome support and love coming at me from all angles and I’m positively overwhelmed and so very grateful. Thank you to everyone. I stand behind the fact that I think blogging makes us nicer people. I really do.
It’s been so hard to stick to just three things, but, this week I’m grateful for…
145. Companies that ‘get it’ – Elk, Leona, Prey, I love that you got a random email from some chick with a blog and you ran with it. You didn’t try to ‘corporatise’ me or go on and on about your ‘brand’. You didn’t have lots of rules and regulations… in fact, you had none. You just got that blogging is about having a conversation with a friend and you pulled up a chair. Are you listening, Ford Territory???
146. Shiny Tim – again. I know. It’s boring now. But I’m just so darn grateful for those captured family moments, I really am.
147. Bloggers – Lots and lots and lots of bloggers. I’m probably running out of ways to say I’m grateful for our little community, but again, I am just so happy with the lot of you that I’ll repeat myself again and again and again. And again. Thank you for joining in with Grateful Saturday each week. It means a great deal to me.

I absolutely love this blogging community. I wrote a post about it last week – everyone was so supportive when I had my baby. Some people don’t understand blogging, but I wouldn’t be without it xo

Oh, what a beautiful grateful. You make this blogging journey so very special for so many of us. For ever and a day I will always think of things to be grateful for each week because of you. And I can’t thank you enough for that. xx

I’m so grateful I’m part of the blogging community. I’ve “met” the most incredible people and made some really lovely friendships!
And thanks to you for allowing me to always see the positives in my week (even on weeks like this one where I’ve been battling the dreaded sniffles). xx

WOW Maxabella, what an amazing week you’ve had! Those family photos are STUNNING – and BTW I think you look Gorgeous. Yes. I do.
Its so nice to put a face to the blogger, ya know what I mean??
I’m hardly a petite classy blonde myself…
And CONGRATS on 1000+ followers.
As I say every week (when I sit down and read through your weeks’ posts) your blog is one of my favs.
Not because you comment or visit me or anything but just because you do what you do so well, and I ENJOY visiting, reading, seeing.
Thanks Maxabella for this grateful linky, a bright spot in my bloggy week 🙂
xx

I should link up. But this week i’m just going to be quiet. Don’t get mad! I will still trowel through the links because I love reading these. I just need personal time I guess (and being sick on top of that doesn’t help much!)
muminsearch.com says
Your grateful linky is one of the reasons I started my blog. I had my cloth nappy blog first, but I’d run out of things to say or I’d bore people to death pretty quickly if I had to be grateful for something nappy-related every week… Yet, I thought being grateful was a fantastic idea and I wanted to participate… so here I am.
Mama Mogantosh says
I’m grateful for bloggers too, MaxaB. I’m grateful in fact, for all the love and support we can get or give in any form. it’s all great stuff. Happy weekending. x

Had a pretty fab week myself, who knew a tiny business i could start from home, before on line shops were the norm a decade ago with 3 little ones under 2.5 years, i’d be getting commissions from the rich & famous – then having them invite me to stay with my 4 children to play the afternoon away??!! Love Posie

You know I think your linky is super important – we need to have gratitude in our lives. I am always proud to think that we have been playing along from the start (well, close to it, if not the actual start!)
And I am grateful for you sharing Tim Coulsen’s photography with us. Have contacted him to make a booking – now I just have to decide whether to do it at home in Margaret River or with the grandparents when we are in Sydney in October…hmmmm, decisions, decisions! Have a lovely weekend.

Awesome grateful’s. I like a brand/company who is confident enough not to make a big deal about pushing themselves too. The markings of a great brand in my opinion. Have a lovely weekend Maxabella… gorgeous pic too!

I love your grateful list this week 🙂
I also love that blogs allow you to create personal connections with people you’ll never meet; nameless people, in a random town or city somewhere in the world. But most of the time, we think the same, have similar passions, frustrations, goals or dreams – and we can connect in a small way over the shared experience.
It’s amazing really, when you think about it.
Grateful for your grateful list as well – it makes me stop and look over the week to find little pockets of wonderful to write about. I just love that – and have so enjoyed being a small part of your meme.
Have a wonderful weekend x

Thank you for hosting. I’m a follower, and I need your help.
I have a page on my site that lists more than 300 hops, memes, and photo challenges… some for each day of the week. Yours is listed there, too! I’m trying to update the list to include a brief phrase describing each link. Can you sum yours up… hopefully in a dozen words or less? Check under the header for the link to that page.

This is a great idea – thank you for hosting it. Love your blog!

Oh so very true Maxabella. If I didn’t take the time out to actually think about what I’m grateful for, I’d get caught up continuously thinking about what makes me cranky!
And I just read about the spider! Good grief! Nothing as severe as that in Brisbane. Only the occasional red back we have to worry about but kids have been stung by plenty of wasps and green ants. They always have an allergic reaction too so the Phenergan is always on hand.

I also love the blogging world!
It fits with what I have always told my children. There is a whole world out there waiting to be explores and billions of people to meet.
I am happy that I have been touched and to touch people from across the lands.
