Just wanted to mention that I’m linking up this picture (that I originally used on one of my Grateful posts) with the ‘A message to teenage me’ project at Scissors Paper Rock. When I read posts like this one at Rhonda’s, it makes me realise that we’ve got a lot to say to teens that sometimes just doesn’t get said.
Please contribute to Claire’s project. I really think it might make a difference to someone lost one day.
What advice would you give to a teenage you?
[Original image by Shannon Blue. Words added by me. I heard them in a preview of that new ‘cocoon’ style movie coming out that’s got Judi Dench in it… I heard these words and I just though ‘oh, so true’ and then ‘oh, so comforting’.]

What a great initiative. I’ll be getting creative over the weekend….such a sad waste of potential, can’t imagine the horror for the parents.

Wow, this looks an amazing project. I had no idea how widespread a problem this is. Lots to think about. Will see what I can come up with. I love your image and words…I’d like to have heard them as a teenager too.
