I changed my button. I’m much happier with this one. My first ever Photoshop effort!
Now, here’s one to encourage those juniorburgers to get out and about and away from those tempting screens. Hands on: as we grow is a terrific little site with great ideas for encouraging creative play. I’m fairly lax around here – I tend to boot the kids outside and tell them to go and find something climby, runny or jumpy to do. But I aim to do better… obstacle course, here we come!
Visit the terrific Hands on: as we grow or click on the image below to pin!
Do you plan your children’s outdoor activities? Or are you a back-door-booter too?

Thank you for visiting my blog and for leaving a comment. It made my day today. I was feeling a bit sorry for myself this morning because I had to do some housework and I really didn’t feel like it. Then I read about your back and no longer was I feeling sorry for myself. I really hope your back is getting better. Take care, Julie xxoo

My children were born to run free outdoors (in the tropics) so they don’t realise they now live in Canberra & the grass is icey, they still run around without prompting, especially as they play team sports – they are smashing netballs & volleyballs around the neighbourhood. Great thing about having a large family, you have half a team for almost every sport!! Love Posie

I am definitely a back door booter. Although we are having triple digit heat here so we’re staying in. He is currently reading a book! I try to limit the on-screen activities.
