I missed Rewind # XLVII (nah, I don’t know what that number is either). Fiji was brilliant – see here for a catch up if you’re interested. I’ve spent the time since our return having a birthday (I’ve just reached the age where I don’t want to remember my number!) and readjusting to life. Traffic is busy and scary and LOOOUD. Do you think that’s half the problem of modern life?
Just had to share this image again.
Badoo was fixated on this romantic beachfront dinner a couple were having right outside our villa and decided that the loved-up couple needed some music. I believe she played them Taylor Swift’s “Teenage Dream” (good thing there was no way they could have heard it!). We told her she wasn’t allowed to get too close, especially as she is prone to staring for hours on end (“Oh look, what a cute little girl… ha, sweet, she’s looking over at us… hello there darling… yep, she’s still looking… still staring… don’t look, just ignore her… is that creepy kid still there?” Oh Badoo, you do make us laugh.
Other things that had me this week:
Reading… so many books! Don’t you love holidays. Especially can recommend Heft by Liz Moore (cried buckets) and Me and Rory Macbeath by Richard Beasley.
Loving… the National Geographic Travel Photo winners 2014.
Thinking… about wealth.
Writing… my big preso for Problogger, coming up way too soon. I’m both utterly excited and… not.

Dreaming… of another trip away with the kids. They were absolute gold the whole trip.
Trying… to not be so self-conscious (look out for my notes on digital photography up tomorrow afternoon).
Marvelling… at how generous my Teach Me guest bloggers are with their talent and their time {thank you x}.

Wondering… what to do when a blogger who usually posts really regularly is suddenly – gone.
Happy reading.
