Instead of screens today…
why not visit your local eco garden?
Most councils run a community garden project of some kind or another. I’ll bet you’ve probably driven past your local place countless times without ever knowing it was there. If your council isn’t so easy to navigate, you can try looking up your area at the Australian City Farms & Community Gardens Network website.
Some of the cool community gardens we’ve visited:
- Northey Street City Farm in Brisbane
- Kooragang City Farm in Newcastle
- St Helens Community Garden in Glebe
- Fagan Park Eco Garden in Hornsby
- Kimbriki Eco House and Garden in Terry Hills
- Northbank in Bellingen
- Port Phillip EcoCentre
Do you have a local eco garden?
