A short one this week, because a Teddy Roosevelt quote that I found on Kelly’s wrap up of the excellent Tropical Think Tank she just attended nicely concludes this whole week for me. If we could just make this our mantra, I believe we mothers would be far more forgiving of ourselves.
Other things that had me this week:
Reading – The Memory of Running by Ron McLarty. It’s been on my shelf for years and then on my sister’s shelf for ages after she read it, but it returned to me a week or so ago and I’m finally reading it. You could say it’s a slow burner, but I’m liking it very much so far.
Writing – about guilt. SO much guilt.
Making – 15,000 year old chocolate muffins.
Wishing – I had started planning Badoo’s Let’s Glow Crazy party about 3 weeks ago…
Loving – this much needed pep talk.
Wondering – if the grass really is greener somewhere else. I’m thinking not.
We’ve been missing our stylin’ Son, but we’ve got another guest host this week with style enough for all of us: Jenni from Styling Curvy. Jenni has a background in fash and design, so she really knows her stuff. I’m inspired by her awesome wardrobe, proving to me that I can’t keep using my curves as an excuse for not trying hard enough (I will have to find another excuse…) Pop over and meet Jenni, her love of life will make your day.
THANK YOU for joining the Weekend Rewind list, hosted by Maxabella loves, Life, Love and Hiccups and Styling Curvy. To join in simply link up your favourite post and visit a few other bloggers for a read and a chat. A link back here on your post is appreciated.
